Abstract and Full Paper Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission

Abstract should be written ONLY in English language and it should not exceed 250 words (max). It should be typed on A4 paper using MS Word Program, with Times New Roman font, 11-point and 1.5 line spacing.

The abstract title should be less than 15 words, clear and concise and typed in Times New Roman font, 12-point bold. The author’s and co-author’s full name (start with Surname then First Name followed with academic degrees) should be followed by name and department of the institutions that the authors are affiliated and these affiliations are to be numbered accordingly in superscript (all typed in TNR 11-point). A valid corresponding e- mail address of the main corresponding author should be submitted. Failure to do this will delay any form of communications between the committee and the author.

Content of abstracts includes:

    For Research Article:
    Should be structured with subtitles: Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
    For Case Report :
    A narrative paragraph that includes introduction, objectives, concise description of the case being reported and a conclusion.

Abstracts should be submitted through online submission via our website www.kppikg.com no less than April 15, 2019.

The scientific committee will then evaluate the content of each abstract and make the final selection. Abstracts not complying with the specified format will not be considered. Accepted abstract will be notified by e-mail and the author should prepare the full paper based on the guidelines below.

Full Paper Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts should original and have not been accepted for publication or even published elsewhere. Papers considered may be a Research Articles and Case Reports. Papers without abstracts will be automatically rejected. If a presentation is later proven to contain previously published materials or signs of plagiarism then appropriate sanctions will be imposed against the author(s), such as prohibiting presentation at the next meeting.

A valid corresponding e-mail address of the main corresponding author should be submitted. The presenter should be the author. The co-authors may represent the author in the presentation with written notification to the Scientific Committee. Persons submitting an abstract are doing so with the understanding that they abide and respect the conditions, deadline policies, and the decisions of the Scientific Committee. An individual may submit only one abstract and may present only one paper at the meeting, but may appear as a co-author on other abstracts.

Full papers should written in the English language. They should be typed on one side of an A4 paper using size 12 in Times New Roman font and 1.5 line spacing, 3 cm margin all around, not more than 10 pages, excluding figures, charts, tables and references, number in all pages. Full papers should be submitted through our website www.kppikg.com no later than July 31, 2019.

Notification :
When you submit an abstract, a message will be sent to your e-mail address. You will need your username (e-mail address) and your password to login where then you may edit your submitted abstract and review your registration details.

Important:
Please be sure to use a valid, long-term e-mail address as it will be used for all further communications (including acceptance/ rejection notifications) regarding your abstract.

Content of full papers should be organized as follows:

  • Research Article
    Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgement, Conflict of Interest and References

  • Case Report
    Introduction, Objectives, Case Operation procedures, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, Conflict of Interest and References

  • Figures, Charts, Graphs and Photographs - should be inserted at the end of the main Word document. Graphics and photos should be provides at a minimum resolution of 600 dpi as a JPEG file. Tables should be self-explanatory and should supplement, not duplicate the text and table title included and understandable. The figure legends should appear within the text of the manuscript on a separate page following references and Tables under the heading “Legends’.

  • References (Vancouver style)
    Each reference quoted should be numbered according to their appearance in the main text of the paper using Arabic number (1,2,3,4, and so on) – superscript. The references list should be written following the Vancouver style as set by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). Detailed information can be found at http://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/uniform_requirements.html The title of each journal quoted should be abbreviated following the standardized abbreviations, which can be found at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/journals.

It is the duty of the author to ensure that all references quoted are accurate and written according to the guidelines. Should there be found any signs of plagiarism, this will be solely the responsibility of the author(s) and the Scientific Committee reserves the right to employ any necessary actions to respond.

Mode of Presentation

All accepted papers for KPPIKG 2019 will be presented as E-Poster. It will be in the digital format only on high-resolution monitors. All Poster presentation will be presented in multi-media E-Posters. Guidelines for e-poster will be announced later.

Submission Deadline

Full Paper : July 31, 2019

Abstract and Full Paper Submission Selection
Accepted papers will be edited without changing the content. You have 2 options for publishing your Abstract and Full Paper Submission:
  1. Abstract will only be published in KPPIKG 2019 Abstracts and Programmes Book (Proceeding).
  2. Other option, selected full paper will be published in the Scopus Journal-indexed that in collaboration with IWDR and ISCaRD 2019. For this option, all articles will be subjected to peer-reviewing and decision will solely be made by scientific committee of IWDR and ISCaRD 2019. Cost required in this process will be charged to the participant/author.

All speakers are required to pay the appropriate registration fees no later than September 1st, 2019. Failure to comply with this procedure may result in the prohibition of the speaker in presenting his/her presentation.

KPPIKG 2019­ Scientific Awards

All accepted papers that fulfill the requirement submission and deadline will be included in the KPPIKG 2019 SCIENTIFIC AWARD competition (ONLY if the author opted to be included in the competition).
For KPPIKG 2019, there will be 2 award categories.
  1. Scientific Award for Research Article
  2. Scientific Award for Case Reports Article
The reviewing and adjudication process would be announced later.
