Starting May 22nd to July 11th, 2012, the roadshow to promote KPPIKG2013 will be held in 10 Dental Schools in Indonesia. The event organized by PT Kalbe Indonesia will provide all the information you need to know about KPPIKG2013 and there will be a registration service counter to assist you to register. The committee successfully launched KPPIKG2013 on Monday (March 12th 2012), located in Jakarta Convention Center’s Merak Room. Prof. drg. Bambang Irawan Sosrosudirjo, PhD (Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Indonesia’s Dean) and drg. Armasastra Bahar, PhD (KPPIKG2013 Chairperson) were present to officially launch the upcoming great event. The agenda itself consisted of website launching, the KPPIKG2013 concept and details presentation, and also booth selling for exhibitors. There were around 40 exhibitors came to the Grand Launching event, which were very much eager to know what to expect from KPPIKG2013. The Grand Launching was definitely a good start and KPPIKG2013 is too great to be missed. We hope you all to be the part of it!
The 15th Scientific Meeting and Refresher Course in Dentistry (KPPIKG) was already held by Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Indonesia on October 14th – 17th 2009 located in Jakarta Convention Center. KPPIKG2009 had a theme which is “Dental Breakthrough in the 21st Century: Where Science Meets Technology”. Many intersesting and latest topics were presented by international and local speakers; such as Dental Implant, Esthetic Dentistry, Minimal Intervention and Caries Prevention, Geriatric Dentistry, and the most spotlighted topic for KPPIKG2009 Green Dentistry. Those topics were provided in posters, presentations, and courses/hands-ons. There were also Scientific Award for best paper, poster and Before-After photo contest. In the end of the event, KPPIKG2009 committee refreshed the participants with inspiring popular discussion in “Talk Show with Kick Andy”. KPPIKG2009 definitely brought the dental breakthrough!
